As a photographer I am constantly striving to learn more in order to push my photography to the next level. I am the only female ambassador in the UK for global lighting company Phottix. Becoming an ambassador has enabled me to work creatively with their fantastic portable studio lighting systems in order to produce stunning wedding portraits for my couples. 

I have also been awarded Wedding Documentary Photographer of the Year and Fashion and Boudoir Photographer of the Year through the Master Photographer Association. I am widely regarded as one of the best wedding photographers in Brighton.

I have photographed weddings across the South East, including London as well as destination weddings in New York and Portugal. I have also filmed pre-wedding shoots in Iceland. This is just one more reason why I am passionate about what I do, because I never know where my work will take me!

Wedding photography has both evolved and come full circle over time. Gone are the days of cheesy gimmicks and awkard posing that gave wedding photographers the label of being uncool. Gritty yet romantic documentary storytelling that captured the love, laughter and emotion of the day, soon took its place. With a revival in black and white photography, bringing us back to the timeless imagery of the generations before us.  

While colour plays an important role in my photography, I have always had a not-so-secret love affair with black and white photography too. While some images are simply meant for colour, there is something stripped back about a black and white image that allows you to feel the moment and see the story without distraction.

Black and white photography has become a strong part of my documentary style over the years due to its emotive quality and timeless feel.
