On Friday of last week I got together again with Sue Hill from Sue Hill Childrenswear to photograph her amazing new collection for Autumn/Winter 2015. Despite a very precarious start to the week in which The Pantiles was flooded due to the unprecedented amount of rainfall in only a few days, (including the basement of Sue’s shop), the show still went on! Having had the difficult choice of choosing from a gorgeous selection of potential models we were fortunate not to need a paddle and life jackets for the little ones that were modelling for us that day. Being a mother to three children myself I am no stranger to toddlers but photographing six little monkeys along with the older children in one sitting was a comedic challenge to say the least!
Luckily between us all we still managed to capture some delightful images of them all wearing the most beautiful timeless outfits for both the boys and girls alike. I adore these first few photos of the boys in their dungaree shorts, coupled with these fabulous shirts and tights. I would never have thought to put tights on my boys but for the little ones it really does work, proving a shorts and tights combo aren’t just for toddler girls this Autumn!
All the fantastic props seen in the images (apart from the balloons) were provided by Ellie at What About The Kids. Ellie’s company provides quality, stylish and affordable hire for keeping kids amused at weddings, parties and other occasions. Her selection of toys and props made the perfect addition to this vintage themed styled shoot. The balloons were from Smiffy’s Fancy Dress and Party Shop in Tunbridge Wells and are brilliant for all types of occasions and can be ordered in a wide range of colours.
