The 8th August 2015 marked a very special day in the lives of Jonathon and Jennifer who married in a beautiful ceremony at St Peter and St Paul’s church in Bromley, followed by a fabulous reception at The Beaverwood Club in London. Jennifer looked simply stunning in her elegant wedding dress by Spanish dress design company ‘White One’ which she chose from bridal boutique ‘With Love Bridals’ in Eltham, London.
Considering how much rain we had in August, Mother Nature looked kindly on the happy couple and provided us all with a warm and sunny day for everyone to enjoy. This also gave Jonathon, Jennifer and I an opportunity to explore the beautiful library gardens next to the church where Jennifer played as a child. It only seemed appropriate therefore that I captured some poignant moments of the couple in the very place Jennifer still holds dear to this day, while their guests were transported to the reception at The Beaverwood Club in a vintage red double decker bus.
It was very clear that Jennifer and Jonathon had put a lot of thought into providing their guests with a wonderfully fun reception, with lawn games such as croquet, giant jenga, skittles and bowls to keep everyone (particularly the children!) amused. There was also a table laden with colourful jars of sweets for everyone to help themselves to and an impressive fairground style cut out made by art teacher Jennifer herself to inject some additional humour into the proceedings!
Having enjoyed their drinks on the lawn it was time for the wedding party and guests to enjoy the wedding breakfast followed by some very warm and witty speeches from the father-of-the-bride, groom and best man. The evening reception involved a brilliant night of dancing, drinking and frivolity, with contemporary live band Academy All Stars providing the entertainment. This provided the perfect end to what was without doubt a wonderfully relaxed and truly memorable day for the happy couple before they left to enjoy a luxury honeymoon in Italy!
