Maternity photography is something I really enjoy and this summer I had the pleasure of photographing a maternity portrait session for fellow photographer Hannah and her beautiful family at Ashdown Forest in Sussex. Hannah, who was pregnant with her third child at the time, wanted me to capture some natural images in a picturesque setting. Ashdown Forest is a favourite location of mine to photograph at, as has fabulous panoramic views and lots of open shade, which makes it a perfect backdrop for any family portrait shoot. Hannah’s daughters had lots of fun skipping around the meadow we were working in, which made for some wonderfully relaxed images and Hannah looked stunning in her pale pink maternity dress which complimented the girls gorgeous little white dresses perfectly. Many congratulations to Hannah and her family who proudly welcomed their little baby boy Edward into the world on 18th August this year, less than a month after these images were taken!
